Headlight tag

Enable fast, hands-free vehicle entry at your property with the ButterflyMX Headlight Tag. Designed for use with the ButterflyMX Vehicle Reader, this RFID credential allows residents and staff to enter gates and garages automatically — without remotes, key fobs, or PIN codes.

The tag adheres directly to the plastic surface of a vehicle’s headlight, allowing the reader to detect it as the car approaches the entrance. Once verified, the system automatically opens the gate or garage, giving drivers seamless access without rolling down their windows or leaving their vehicles.

Because the headlight tag stays attached to the vehicle, it’s difficult to lose and provides a reliable long-term credential for residents and staff. When paired with the ButterflyMX online management dashboard, property managers can easily assign, manage, or revoke vehicle access credentials as needed.
